Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of the first batch of new liberal arts research and reform practice projects. A total of 1011 projects of 394 universities were approved, and 3 projects of our university were selected. The project "Research and Practice on the Construction of the New Liberal Arts Innovation and Entrepreneurship Collaborative Education System" presided over by Professor Xu Xianglong of our college won the approval of the New Liberal Arts Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Practice category, with the project number of 2021120036.

The project aims to solve the problems of transformation and upgrading, cross-integration, and separation from the actual needs of the society in the process of the construction of the new liberal arts, through the construction and development of the new liberal arts characteristic innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum, the promotion of the innovation and entrepreneurship classification training and the reform of the characteristic training mode, the construction of the industry-education-integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education practice platform base, the establishment of the government-industry-university-research innovation and entrepreneurship collaborative education faculty, and other measures, We will promote the reform of the talent training paradigm with the core of "dare to break through and be creative", and promote the improvement of students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability and comprehensive literacy.

The construction of new liberal arts is an important reform in the field of higher education to cultivate high-quality innovative talents in the new era, and to promote the cross-integration of philosophy and social science and the new round of scientific and technological revolution. The first batch of new liberal arts research and reform practice projects approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China are the feedback of the results of deepening the education and teaching reform and exploring the connotation development of the college in recent years, indicating that the college has made new progress and breakthroughs in the construction of new liberal arts.
